Its the last day of DFAT 2013 and everyone's still so exited and eager to discover what Davao has to offer in terms of food. For an early lunch we went to Chef Lu. Chef Lu offers authentic Chinese food - giving us a taste of Hongkong. It was named after their founder Che Lu - a Hongkong trained chef and he also gives cooking lessons in Manila for over 40 years. Here are the some of the dishes they offer in Chef Lu.
Salted Dumplings |
This dish is a bit crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. It has pork, mushroom, shrimps, radish, and spring onions. Priced at P75 for 3 pieces very affordable for a tasty dish.
Vegetarian Spring Roll |
Bean Curd Roll |
This dish has bamboo shoots, lean meat, roasted pork and mushrooms.
Egg Noodles with Spicy Meat Sauce |
This is the Chinese version of spaghetti. The noodle is called Egg Noodles. The spicy sauce contains shallots, dried shrimps, black bean, salted yellow beans and ground pork.
